The fear of driving may be brought on by a traumatic event, an accident, or the feeling of unease which can begin small and develop. Here at Lloyds Driving School we have experience dealing with many people with driving anxiety problems and with the practical support of your driving we can begin to help you feel more comfortable behind the wheel. You may already be a good driver and we can help with driving strategies that develop your confidence.

Nervous Driver Courses

Nervous driver courses are designed for the individual.

The course is suitable for the full licence holder who struggles with a driving phobia, driving anxiety or a specific area for example high speed roads, heavy traffic conditions, complex junctions or driving in the dark.

The course can offer support to those who have not driven for a while and may feel rusty. Your driving may require a little support and practice.

Price for the initial 1.5 hour assessment is £45.00.

During this assessment we can discuss your particular needs, take look at your driving in various road and traffic situations and set out a plan of action to help.

After session feedback and support can be given to encourage practice.

We can offer individual courses to suit every need. Weekly sessions or a more intensive course.

Areas Covered

We cover the Hull, Beverley, York, Scunthorpe, Leeds, Grimsby and East Yorkshire areas.

Travelling times and bridge tolls will be charged. Payment prior to session may be required.
