I passed my test today on the first attempt. My instructor Ian did an absolutely brilliant job on teaching me, he was patient with me we went over certain things repeatedly just so i could remember how to do things properly and correctly. He always showed up on time and has always been very up beat and chatty.

I passed my driving test first time with no minors today thanks to Ian! He’s such a calm and reliable instructor who helped me get over my initial fear of driving by explaining things thoroughly. Thank you so much.

I have just passed my driving test on first attempt, with only one minor. My instructor was Ian Burr and he was genuinely amazing throughout. He is such a patient and kind instructor! Ian has taught me to a high standard and has helped me to understand the importance of defensive driving. I have already and would continue to recommend him, he really is fantastic! ⭐

Hi everyone, Ian was my instructor and i couldn’t have asked for anyone better, he was calm and experienced and it made lessons soo much better knowing i was getting taught by such a great teacher. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve given it three stars as my driving instructor Sam was good but his unprofessional attitude I received over text today was disgraceful. I had a driving lesson booked for the 12th of March (with evidence), he showed up at my house this morning (4th of March) and as I didn’t show up (because it wasn’t my lesson date) he has now cancelled my lessons. I think it is genuinely appalling behaviour that you wouldn’t CHECK your messages and check again before booking in your client and definitely before sending a message telling your client that you are cancelling the lessons over YOUR OWN mistake. It took me well over an hour to receive an apology even though he read my message almost immediately.

I had Ian as my driving instructor from about June to September and he was amazing!! I had an awful experience with another driving instructor at Anderby and with Ian I had no cancellations no shouting and had such a great time and I can’t recommend him enough!!

I had Ian Burr as my instructor and i couldn’t recommend him enough! He’s such a pro at what he does. Somehow, he magically knows when we need to head back, no matter where we are, in order to finish the lesson on time. It amazes me🤣 He’s always punctual, kind, patient and makes every lesson a fun one, we have a good laugh every time. Ian really makes learning to drive feel easy and enjoyable. Thank you!

Ian Burr was great! He put me at ease when i was feeling nervous and helped me with my confidence as well as my driving skills. There’s no way i would’ve passed first time without him. I’ll miss his weekly life advice! Thanks Ian :)

I am happy to say that the other day I passed my driving test first time and its all down to my instructor Ian. I was an anxious driver however always felt safe in his car. He created a joyous environment where I was looking forward to my lessons since I knew whilst learning safely that I could have a laugh and helped me increase my confidence on the roads. He broke down steps to ensure I fully understood what I was doing and gave excellent guidance supporting my full journey. I couldn't recommend him enough and will take all the habits with me going forward. Thank you so much, Scarlett.

Brilliant and friendly driving instructors. I just passed with Lloyds and learned with Rosie, she is absolutely amazing! I’m a really anxious person, but she was so patient, friendly, reassuring, and encouraging that my confidence grew every single lesson. She explains everything clearly and makes learning to drive enjoyable. If you’re learning with Lloyds, definitely ask for Rosie — she’s the best! I would give more stars if I could and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a driving instructor in Hull / East Yorkshire.

Passed my driving test with Ian as my instructor! Hands down best instructor ever. Always patient with me, if I was struggling with something he helped and supported me till I got it right. I’m quite nervous and emotional sometimes and Ian helped me feel comfortable and confident driving. Ian is a real professional in what he does, wouldn’t want anyone else as my instructor!

Ian Burr my driving instructor he is super patient and explains things in different ways until you understand, he manages to make you feel confident even when you are struggling. During my time learning I had time off for medical reasons and he never rushed me and was really helpful in supporting me to get back into the car and drive safely. I passed my driving test finally. All thanks to Rosie who has been the most patient and friendly instructor I had in Hull. I am a nervous driver and past traumatic experiences with driving instructors had put me off from driving. Rosie understood my challenges, worked on my weak bits and made it fun to drive again. I cannot thank enough to her for not giving up on me. She’s the best instructor out there, highly recommend her!!

I passed first time thanks to my fantastic instructor Sam, I had a great experience and had a really good time throughout all my lessons. I got taught start to finish with only some prior experience, and I managed to perfect it thanks to Lloyds.

I am happy to say it was a superb experience with instructor Rosie from Lloyds driving school. Passed one time and would highly recommend as the preparations were identical to what I experienced during the actual test. Learning with Rosie was fun and engaging, I highly recommend her.

Rosie has helped me pass my driving test now, I couldn’t recommend her more for anyone! She handles your anxiety and stress very well and does so in a way that reassures you. She forms a good relationship with you, I always looked forward to my driving lessons. And she is very reliable. If you’re looking to learn in an automatic I would definitely go with Rosie. Best driving instructor out there.

Passed first time today with Driving instructor Ian, absolute pleasure and made the learning experience a blast.

As of today I have passed my driving test. It has been a pleasure learning with Ian Burr and could not recommend him high enough! From the very first driving lesson Ian has made it an encouraging and enjoyable environment that made me feel at ease behind the wheel. Ian's teaching style was supportive + encouraging breaking down every step during my lessons. I gained not only skills from driving but also a built up confidence whilst on the road. I passed my test yesterday first time with one minor! Steve is easily the best instructor I’ve had, I’m now 30 years old and have taken lessons on and off over the years, Steve was patient, experienced & made my lessons enjoyable :) Thankyou again!! Couldn’t have done it with anybody else!

Passed my test today and couldn’t recommend Ian enough! He taught to such a high standard and was incredibly calm, patient and supportive, especially with me being a nervous driver and sometimes getting quite emotional. I would recommend him to anyone and I am incredibly glad to have had him as my instructor.

Would definitely recommend to a friend. I had the best instructor ever. Rosie was very patient, supportive and put me to ease when I made mistakes. She is very good at what she does. Sam came highly recommended from another parent when we were looking for driving lessons in Hull for our daughter. She had just started at university in Hull when her driving test was scheduled for November at home. Having had lessons at home, she wanted to continue with her driving practice in Hull to be ready for her test. She said that Sam was patient and always gave her good feedback on what she could improve on. He always communicated well with her and us, which was very reassuring as we never actually met him, just spoke on the phone! She passed her test and we are very grateful for all Sam's input. Thank you very much, Sam, for helping Ash to become the confident driver she now is! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sam to anyone seeking a driving instructor.

Fantastic driving school. I'm currently being taught by Sam who's a great instructor. If you make a mistake he always makes sure you know what you've done wrong and how to correct it and do it better next time. He's friendly and calm which makes driving much more relaxing and the lessons more enjoyable.

I passed first try after a few months of lessons with Ian. He's a fantastic guy and it was an absolute pleasure to learn with him, he made me look forward to my lessons and made learning to drive an extremely positive experience. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn to drive with a calm, patient and skilled instructor.

It's hard to write a review when it's something that you can't easily shop around to compare, but my experience learning to drive with Lloyds was definitely worth it, and Rosie helped me through from beginning to end. In the end I passed on my first attempt with 5 minors, and that was with just over 40 hours of lessons and no other practice. While driving is (on the whole) fun, you will make mistakes that need to be addressed and worked on so that you can become a safe driver. I felt that I had a good experience with my instructor. She encouraged me to succeed and be a competent driver while helping me to reflect on how to improve.

Very good at breaking things down and making it simple. Very easy to get along with and help calm the nerves. Highly recommend
